Ricardo engines originate from Sir Harry Ricardo, a brilliant British engineer born in 1885. Ricardo designed engines powered the tanks first used decisively by the British army in 1915.
From those early beginnings, today the UK based multinational Ricardo Company designs state of the art diesel engines for manufacturers all over the world.
